Child Protection, Child Safeguarding and Risk Assessment

Dear Parents,
Please be advised that the Board of Management has recently reviewed and updated the Child Protection Policy, Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment. All documents are available to view on the school website and are available upon request from the school office.
All school staff have undergone training in the new Child Protection and Safeguarding guidelines and are currently drawing up a new policy and risk assessment. This document and risk assessment will be available before the beginning of the new school year (2026/ 2027) and will be the document that will be followed should a Child Safeguarding issue arise.
A reminder that any child safeguarding concerns should be brought to Mrs Flood's (Designated Liaison Person) attention. If Mrs Flood is unavailable, please contact Mrs McCarthy (Deputy Designated Liaison Person).
