As part of Maths Week, 5th and 6th Class enjoyed an afternoon of "Chess for Numeracy" on Wednesday 18th October. In this workshop the children learnt the movement rules for all chess pieces and solved a range of chess puzzles, mini games, timed and competitive challenges, along with some mental maths questions. A great afternoon was had by all!
