3rd Class enjoyed a lovely morning in Castletown House on Thursday 5th May. They were shown some of the work that the maids did, for example, washing clothes and then they learned about some of the duties the butler and servants had. After that they got to dress up as important guests of the house and they listened to lots of history and interesting stories about the Conolly family and what life was like in Castletown House almost 300 years ago. Everyone enjoyed the morning out. Many thanks to our parent helpers, Val, Katherine and Richard.
